Friends of the Greenburgh Library
The Friends of the Greenburgh Library is a non-profit, all volunteer organization, whose purpose is to promote the interest and welfare of the library as an educational, cultural and recreational asset to our community. We do this by focusing public attention on library services, facilities and needs.
The Friends:

- Die cut machine for children’s craft programs
SPONSOR children's programs and adult cultural events, including
-
Musical Munchkins, one of the Library’s most popular programs,
which provides enrichment for babies and young children.
- Art Lectures, on special exhibitions, led by Metropolitan Museum of Art staff.
- Film Series, screenings of independent films, followed by discussions led by a moderator.
PROVIDE scholarships through the Library’s Page Scholarship Program, which rewards senior pages with a stipend when they graduate from high school.
UNDERWRITE hospitality at special meetings and events
