Monday7-28Buggy For Ballons on Monday, July 28, at 7:00 p.m. Grades 2-5, create out of this world bee-utiful bugs and other creatures out of balloons with Balloonist Terry Parrett. Registration required, beginning July 14th, 993-1605.
Monday8-4Flute Sweets & Tickletoons on Monday, August 4, at 7:00 p.m. Come to our Town Hall location for a family concert for ages 5 and up. Join Tugboat Music as they give you a bugs-eye view of the world through funny tales & fairy tunes. Registration required, beginning July 21st, in person or call 993-1605.
Saturday8-16Children's End of Summer Reading Game Party on Saturday, August 16, at 11:00 a.m. All Summer Reading Game players are invited to join us at our Town Hall location for food fun and prizes. Registration is required, in person or call 993-1605.

    Thursdays
    Movers & Shakers: 9:30 a.m. (21-30 months)
    Laptime: 10:15 a.m. (non-walking babies)
    Walkers: 11:00 a.m. (walking babies up to 21 months)
    (There will be no program August 21 and 28)

  • Buggy Ballads with Tone (Ages 2½ to 5 yrs)
    Thursdays at 3:30 p.m.
    Presented by Musical Munchkins
    (There will be no program on August 21 and 28)

  • Tots' & Crafts (Ages 2½ to 5 yrs)
    Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
    Silly songs, stories and a fun craft
    (There will be no program on August 22 and 29)

  • Nighty-nite Bed Bug Storytime (Ages 3 to 5 yrs)
    Tuesdays at 7:00p.m.
    Wear your PJ's, join us for srories, songs and a bedtime snack

Just for Kids! Policies

  1. Do I have to register my child for the storytimes and musical programs?
    • We do not require registration (at present) for the weekly storytimes.
    • However, we do register for special programs. If registration is required, it will be noted on our calendar and program flyers. We do ask, if you are unable to attend a program you have registered for, please let us know. Program space is often at a premium, with a waiting list.
  2. Can my child have a snack in the library?
    • There is no eating or drinking (other than infant's bottles) allowed in the library. We ask that you finish eating and drinking outside the library.

  4. Can I leave my child alone in the library?
    • Children thirteen years and older may stay in the library unaccompanied by an adult.
    • Children nine to twelve may stay alone in the Children's Room only if there is a supervising adult with them in the building.
    • Children under eight must be directly supervised in the Children's Room by an adult (not an older child) at all times.

    • Children twelve and under left unattended at library closing time will be escorted to the Greenburgh Police Department by the officer responding to our call.
