Greenburgh Public Library Board of Trustees Vacancy
In order to fill a current vacancy on the Library Board, the Greenburgh Public Library Board of Trustees is seeking a resident of unincorporated Greenburgh to serve out the remainder of a term on the Board of Trustees. The current term runs through December 31, 2014. NYS Education Law authorizes the Board of Trustees to fill a vacancy created by a resignation.
The Library Board meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:15 p.m.

The Greenburgh Public Library is an educational corporation chartered by the NYS Regents. The Library is governed by a Board of Trustees consisting of seven to nine residents of unincorporated Greenburgh. The Board is responsible for all Library operations, for example, establishing the Library's mission, policies, long-term goals, financial oversight, and the appointment of all Library personnel.
