Checking out a Technology Bundle

The Greenburgh Public Library is pleased to offer Chromebooks or Laptops and Hotspot check-out service. Technology Bundles are now available to be placed on hold and for check-out.

  • Technology Bundles can only be checked out by persons 18 years of age or older who are in good standing with the library and who have a valid Greenburgh Public Library card.
  • Call 914-721-8225 or use Chat to place a Bundle on hold with a staff member.
  • Three week loan period with no renewals. 
  • Must be returned with all components included.
  • Bundles must be returned in person during Curbside Hours.
    • Curbside hours; Monday - Saturday, 10am - 1pm and Tuesdays from 4 -7pm and Saturdays from 2 - 4pm.
    • When returning during Curbside hours, call 914-721-8204 when you arrive at the library and a staff member will meet you to retrieve the Technology Bundle
  • There is a $10.00 late fee, per day, for Bundles. 
  • Bundles are quarantined for 96 hours upon return and will remain on patron card during this time. Do not be alarmed, late fees will continue to accrue but will be removed when the quarantine period has ended.
  • The Technology Bundle comes with printed detailed Laptop or Chromebook set-up instructions and Laptop set-up instructions on how to use equipment. There are also detailed instructions on how to restore the Chromebook or Laptop back to factory settings for privacy purposes. Patrons can do this themselves however, staff will also reset and disinfect Technology between check-outs.
  • Patrons should review the Technology Bundle Borrowing Policy before checking items out.
