Email is a way to send and receive messages electronically, across the Internet. You can use email to communicate with friends, relatives, and coworkers, near and far. You can use it to send digital pictures, documents, and other electronic files. An email address is often necessary in order to apply for a job or to obtain other online services (online banking, customer service support, social media, etc.),as well. There are a number of different webmail services that will provide you with an email account for free. Webmail services will allow you to access your email from any home computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, or public library computer that has an Internet connection.
