Westchester Networking Organization - a community supportive of those who are in career transition; a safe environment in which to network across industries, fields and organizations. Members share best practices, experiences and job opportunities. The WNO hosts meetings featuring presentations by thought leaders in relevant topics. WNO members are committed to assisting one another. WNO activities are coordinated by a committee of member volunteers.

Bronxville Career Network - community group serving job seekers, people in transition, and anyone looking to brush up on the latest skills necessary to succeed while searching for employment. Meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of every month, and are free and open to all.

Westchester Business Journal - online edition of the local weekly news publication.  Good source of local business news, companies, executives, economic activity and business events (Westchester Toastmasters) - Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. Members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 15,900 clubs in 142 countries that make up our global network of meeting locations.

Linkedin - LinkedIn is a business- and employment-oriented social networking service that operates via websites and mobile apps.

Westchester Community College Non-Credit Certificate and Career Programs - The Division of Workforce Development and Community Education offers a wide range of courses for adults, teens, children, and seniors. Classes are offered to improve your computer skills, prepare for a new career, earn a required license or certification, learn a new language, and more.

Project Transition: Office Technology Training Program for Displaced Homemakers: This intensive program offered by Westchester Community College provides qualified students the opportunity to learn current, marketable skills to return to the workforce after having been dependent on the income of another family member.  Classes are offered at no cost to participants. Qualified Displaced Homemakers can be: Single Parents, Widowed, Disabled Spouse, Divorced, Separated, Unemployed Spouse. There is no cost to participate. Westchester PC Users Group (WPCUG) - A nonprofit computer club.  Activities include monthly general meetings, opportunities for networking and over a dozen monthly workshops. Workshops are included in the annual membership.

Local Business Organizations

Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides expert management and technical assistance to start-ups and existing business across the state with emphasis on manufacturers, exporters and technology-oriented firms.(free)

Rockland Economic Development Corporation assists women, minority and disadvantaged businesses secure MWBE and DBE certification and learn how to compete for government contracts. (free)

Women's Enterprise Development Center (WEDC) the premier hub for women entrepreneurs in Westchester County and the Lower Hudson Valley providing training, advisory services and access to capital. (some events are free)

SCORE Westchester is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. (services and programs are free)

Gateway to Entrepreneurship (G2E)  through collaboration G2E is a resources hub for entrepreneurial development at all stages offering programs that respond to entrepreneurs needs. (fee-based events)

Industrial Development Agency (IDA) The County of Westchester IDA can be an important source of financial assistance to both existing businesses and those relocating.  A variety of incentives are available to corporations and small companies.

Business Council of Westchester  Westchester County’s largest and most influential business membership organization, The BCW is committed to helping their members build their businesses, connect with customers, business peers and thought-leaders.

Westchester County Association The mission of the WCA is to: drive economic vitality and development in Westchester and the region; stimulate new business creation; be an information resource center for our members and more.

Chambers of Commerce Chambers are membership-based organizations dedicated to promoting businesses in a given town. They can help a small business get exposure within the community it serves. The Chamber of Commerce chapters in Westchester are:
