At the Greenburgh Public Library we have devised a game to engage students entering grades K - 5

because we don’t just want children to read, we want them to LOVE reading!

Book Buddies

Avoid the Summer Brain Drain!

Children in Grades 1-5 can practice their reading with one of our experienced Book Buddies! Sign up for ONE 30 minute session per week.

Science Tellers Presents Aliens!

Sign-up for the Summer Reading Challenge and then help stranded aliens escape a crazy space scientist and return home before it’s too late! Using physics and chemistry we will turn liquid into solid “worms”, launch a potato using Boyle’s Law, make a rocket fly using common household, create a “rainstorm” and so much more!

For children entering Kindergarten - Fifth Grades and their families!
