The Westchester Hispanic Coalition is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the economic and social development of the Latino community. The Coalition carries out its mission through culturally relevant programs in the areas of immigration legal services, citizenship applications, family law, advocacy, employment, housing, education and job training. Founded in 1974, the Coalition is the oldest provider of immigration legal services in Westchester County.
Mission: The Coalition is dedicated to the belief that the American Dream is attainable through hard work, desire, and a level playing field. We know that those who come to us want nothing more than a chance at a better life for their families. We are here to ensure that they get the opportunity to succeed.
El Centro Hispano’s mission has not really changed since its beginning more than forty two years ago – to assist, support, and strengthen Hispanic families; to help them become self- sufficient; and to ease their transition into their new culture while maintaining and enriching their own.
