2023 Tax Information: Home

It's that time of year again!  Here you can find information for both New York State and Federal Income Taxes. Please note, we are unable to advise you about forms to use or give you tax advice, but we do want to help direct you to the right information.

The Greenburgh Public Library will only be receiving a limited amount of tax forms from the IRS and New York State Department of Taxation and Finance.  If you need Tax Guides, forms and publications, please use the links provided below. For those people looking for help filing their taxes from AARP Tax Volunteers locally please see below for more information.

AARP Tax Help - Local Locations

The AARP is offering help and information for people needing help in preparing their taxes at the following local locations by appointment only.    Please contact locations directly for further information.

*NOTE*  Patrons are asked to go to the GMC to pick up a packet first. In the packet there will be a number to call to schedule an appointment. (They used this procedure in previous years during the pandemic) For further information, patrons can call the GMC at 914-713-7537.


Additional Tax Information

Please note that in tax year 2021, there were many changes in the law that made these credits available to people who would not ordinarily be eligible to claim these credits:


  • Earned Income Tax Credit
  • Child Tax Credit
  • Child and Dependent Care Credit
