As the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on in-person gatherings continue, many organizations have adapted their offerings for the public to enjoy virtually. We've included a variety of these virtual happenings on this page, many of which are free, for your convenience and enjoyment.
Please note that these events are not affiliated with or sponsored by the Greenburgh Public Library. Any registration, if required, should be made with the host organization. Limited Time Features
The YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester invites you to take a Stand Against Racism during the week of April 22 – 25. Calling on organizations, corporations, schools, hospitals, houses of worship, government agencies, and individuals in Westchester County to join us and other YWCA’s across the country as we hold an annual Stand Against Racism to build community among those who work for racial justice and raise awareness about the impact of institutional and structural racism. Alvin Alley All Access Performances
For a limited time, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is providing FREE access to videos of its dance performances. For a fee, kids, teens and adults can also take live online dance classes from top Alvin Ailey instructors!
Night in with the Tarrytown Music Hall
A curated, livestream concert series on Wednesdays at 6pm featuring an eclectic mix of extraordinary musicians in the acoustic, blues, folk, jazz, rock, and singer-songwriter musical genres. Free, but donations encouraged.

The Metropolitan Opera
The Metropolitan Opera offers free Nightly Opera Streams as well as pay-per-view virtual concerts.
Playbill shares about the variety of ways you can enjoy Broadway plays and musicals safely from home as well as gives updates about live in-person performances.
The Seattle Symphony is continues to share performances that provide strength, comfort and joy through music while Benaroya Hall remains closed. Programs include concert rebroadcasts of past performances and fun, educational content for the young and young at heart. All broadcasts can be streamed through the Symphony’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
