When you are notified that your hold is available
     * Pull into the circle and stay close to the curb.
     * Call (914)721-8204 to let us know you're here, and we'll bring your holds to the outside cart.

 

 

Hold instructions

  • The Library offers online reader’s advisory, Youth Services Book Bundles, and Adult Services Book Bundles.

  • Place a hold online: Patrons will need their library card number and PIN (usually the last 4 digits of the phone number associated with the library card). For the most comprehensive information, patrons should specify email or text messaging as preferred contact method, if possible. Both are superior to the phone system (which works, but for privacy reasons, leaves a vague message). 
  • Place a hold by phone: Patrons can call 914-721-8225 to request Adult materials and 914-721-8227 to request Children's and Teen materials. Leave a message with your request, library card number and contact information for a return phone call.
