Curbside Pickup Service: Curbside Procedure

How Do I Pick Up My Books?

What are the Curbside pickup times?

  • Monday through Saturday: 10:00AM-1:00PM
  • Tuesdays: 4:00-7:00PM
  • Saturdays: 2:00 - 4:00PM

You do NOT need an appointment. Just come to the library during the specified times.
Call us if you need additional assistance or accommodations, and we'll be happy to help.

Please do not show up for curbside pickup unless you have been contacted that your items are ready for pickup.

What do I do when I get to the library?

  • Pull up into the circle, form a queue, stay close to the curb.
  • Signs will be posted letting you know when to call (914) 721-8204 to let staff know you are here. Patrons are asked to stay in their car while staff checks out materials and brings them to pickup table.
  • Materials will be placed on the curbside table with patron name on them. We are asking patrons to wait for staff member to place items on table, and retreat to a safe distance before exiting the car to retrieve materials.
  • Please wear a mask and keep a safe distance from other patrons who may also be picking up items.

How do I return items I already have checked out?

  • At this time, returns can be deposited in the book drop bins. All items will be quarantined for at least 96 hours and will remain on the patron library card during this period. No penalties or fines will accrue on Greenburgh materials during this time. The book drops are always open, so materials can be returned at any time. Greenburgh Library will continue to accept returns from all Westchester libraries.
