No matter your age, occupation, or lifestyle, lifelong learning is essential to your well-being. Lifelong learning isn’t bound by a certain set of rules, it’s about improving your knowledge, skills, and competence in any particular area, at every stage of your life. It can be informal or very structured, whether it be taking a class to learn a new language or surfing the web for information, anything that enriches your mind is a success. Our goal is to inspire and create a spark in each one of our patrons to continue their thirst for knowledge.

There are many different programs and services at the Greenburgh Public Library that will keep the student in you alive. Do you need to broaden your vocabulary? Join one of our many conversation groupsSpanishItalian, or French! Interested in learning how to use all the bells and whistles on your electronic device? Make an eResource appointment with our Technology Librarian and learn how to use our apps. If you need to increase your business, technology or communication skills, sign up for courses on Linkedin Learning. Are you interested in writing? Sign up for the Learning To See Poetry series. Do you need a new craft? Try Creativebug!

Whatever your needs may be, GPL is here to provide you with the tools you need to succeed. As our mission statement says, “The Greenburgh Public Library is a source for learning, literacy, discovery and delight that enriches lives and strengthens our community.” With each class, appointment, program and service, we hope you become one of our lifelong learners.
