New Movie Releases: October 2018

by Megan Fenton on 2018-09-21T09:58:43-04:00 | 0 Comments

Check out all the new DVDs the library has coming in during October! In addition to all of the big name films you may have seen at the box office over the summer, you may notice quite a few that you've never heard of. I do my best to make sure there are plenty of great movies on our shelves, so that even when you've already seen everything in the theater you'll have something great to watch.

Not sure you want to take a chance on an unfamiliar title on your hard earned Friday evening off? I've linked each title to a great review website called Rotten Tomatoes. Rotten Tomatoes aggregates and provides film reviews for just about every movie out there (from well known critics at the New York Times, Variety, AV Club, and more!), so you can weigh expert film critics' opinions, and feel confident in your choice! The site even provides a "tomatometer" that uses all the critics reviews to give a film a score from 0% (the worst) to 100% (the best), so you can decide quickly if you might like it. Don't trust the critics? You'll also find an audience score using the same scale, so you can see what the general public thinks too.

Whether you've heard of them or not, here are all of our new films to look out for in October:
