Check out all the amazing college prep available at the library this fall and winter. Everything is available virtually–from college essay help to navigating college admissions successfully to how to choose a college. The library even has programs in Spanish. 

Applying to college has always been difficult, but Covid-19 has made applying to college feel nearly impossible for students and parents. Let the library help you.

These programs are free and accessible to everyone. 

 

Navigating College Admissions Successfully and the Importance of Community Service

Tuesday, October 5 & Wednesday, October 20, 7 PM

This program covers how admissions officers are handling the current situation and how students can position themselves to develop a compelling narrative to increase their chances for admission.

Dealing with the Rise of the “Highly Rejective” Colleges, Tuesday, November 16, 6 PM

Fueled in part by the COVID-era “test-optional” admissions requirements, the explosion in the number of applications turned many “highly selective” colleges into “highly rejective” colleges in the spring of 2021. Come learn how to avoid a long string of rejections and what to do when the inevitable one arrives in your inbox from Dr. Dominique Padurano, President of Crimson Coaching™, an elite tutoring, test prep, and college counseling firm.
